Techstars Atlanta To Visit Nigeria In Search Of Most Promising Entrepreneurs

Techstars Atlanta, an arm of internationally recognized accelerator program, Techstars, has announced it’ll visit Lagos, Nigeria this March as part of its World Tour 2017.

The tour will see the Techstars Atlanta team visit Lagos-based co-working space, Cranium One in search of the most promising entrepreneurs to join its 2017 cohort.

Nigerian startups interested in the program can book a place at an evening of networking, presentations, and opportunities for Q & A on March 1, 2017 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

Also, Tyler Scriven, Managing Director of Techstars Atlanta, will hold office hours (20-minute slots) throughout that week. Startups can complete this form to get a chance of attending.

Launched last year, Techstars Atlanta is a 3-month intensive program where participants receive mentoring and guidance from entrepreneurs (active & exited), F500 executives, subject matter experts and Cox employees.

Also, participants are supported by Techstars’ global network of more than 7,000 founders, mentors, investors, and corporate partners. Each company participating in the program receives an investment of $120K for a 6 – 10% stake.

This year’s edition of the accelerator will see 10 startups selected to take part, receiving expertise, funding and office space to help them accelerate their businesses.

It will run from July 17 to October 12, 2017 with a Demo Day, which will have over 1,000 angel investors, VCs and members of the startup community in attendance, holding on October 10, 2017.

Startups across Africa interested in the accelerator program should apply by April 9, 2017
