The second edition of SpeedUP Africa, a four days programme described as Africa’s Most Epic Founder Bootcamp, is set to hold in Lagos, Nigeria in July 2017.
Powered by DDF, a Silicon Valley VC fund (backed by Tim Draper) for African startups that can change the world, in partnership with several Silicon Valley companies, the event seeks to transform African startups to “SpeedUPs”.
The event will feature growth hacking workshops, one-on-one mentor sessions, founder Ted-style talks, Q & A sessions and actual Investments – no panels, Demo Day, et al…just full execution mode to take the startups to the next level.
Interested startups should apply by May 1, 2017 with the selected startups, 100 in number, contacted on May 5, 2017. The event will hold from July 5 – 9, 2017.
At the end of the bootcamp, a few of the startups will secure investments while others will win exciting prizes, courtesy of the partners of the event.
The inaugural edition of the event held last year at the Ramada Resort in Ghana and saw several startups, including Nigeria’s DropBuddies, VeriCampus and Nurlux, secure investments and others accepted into prestigious US-based accelerator programs.
