Nigeria: Django Girls To Inspire Osun State Women To Fall In Love With Programming

Django Girls, a non-profit organization that inspire women to fall in love with programming, has announced its free one-day programming workshop will hold in Osun State this month.

Called Django Girls Osogbo, the workshop is aimed at bringing more women into technology by teaching them how to write computer programs.

The workshop is open to women interested in learning to code, irregardless of their prior knowledge. At the workshop, the attendees will create their first website, and be well-fed by the organizers.

They are required to come with their laptops with Django installed on them. Several coaches will be on hand to help the attendees.

The workshop will hold on March 25, 2017 at Phoebe Star Royalty School in Osogbo, Osun State. Those interested should send an email to osogbo@djangogirls.org. Spaces are limited.

Django Girls Osogbo is part of bigger initiative: Django Girls. It is a non-profit organization and events are organized by volunteers in different parts of the world.
