InCUBE8, a Malawian business incubator/accelerator, has opened applications for its Youth Entrepreneurship Program, offering mentorship from successful business men and women and seed capital to graduands.

Launched in 2016, InCUBE8 aims to tackle youth unemployment and startup failure by nurturing innovative entrepreneurs and help them became the next generation of successful business leaders.

Through the Youth Entrepreneurship Program, InCUBE8 will search and select young entrepreneurs with innovative, high growth and high impact ventures.

These entrepreneurs will receive mentorship from successful business men and women in various sectors and technical support comprising weekly online tasks and weekly workshops aimed at equipping participants with skills to make them successful.

Also, the entrepreneurs will network with local venture capital firms, banks, angel investors and public funding organisations through industry nights, breakfast meet ups and cocktail gatherings.

At the end of the 10 weeks program, the entrepreneurs will receive a seed capital of US$1,000. This, coupled with mentorship and technical support, will help the entrepreneurs refine and launch their products.

Entrepreneurs interested in the program should apply by March 24, 2017. The program will run from April 7 – June 16, 2017.
