CAMSCORP Ventures Lab, a 3 months upscale program that’ll help African startups build world-class businesses by providing them the right tools and opportunities, has been launched.
The program is aimed at building a bridge that connects international investors to fast growing African companies, thereby taking their businesses to the next level.
It is open to Africa-focused startups in virtually all sectors looking to raise over US$1 million (after an initial funding round) or have generated US$300K in revenue if self-funded.
The selected startups will receive several benefits such as comprehensive financial modelling, tailored business advice, deep due diligence, et al. They’ll build robust enterprises and a deep relationship with the International/UK’s leading investors.
“We believe that African companies can compete on a global stage if they are given the right tools and opportunities. Our presence in 17 African countries has given us a unique vantage point that has allowed us to create,” said Sean Obedih, Ventures Partners at CAMSCORP Ventures.
The program will end in a Demo Day in London where the startups will pitch in front of international investors.
Interested startups should apply for the program by 21 April 2017. The non-residential program will run from April 28 – July 28, 2017.
The program is the brainchild of CAMSCORP Ventures, an alternative Private Equity group that offers holistic fund raising and business advice for African business development.
