Nigeria’s Don Jazzy Team Up With Dele Odufuye To Launch Free WiFi Service in Lagos

Ace producer, singer, entrepreneur and Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy has joined forces with Dele Odufuye, Managing Director & CEO of Lagos based software company Tsaboin, to launch a free WiFi service in Lagos.

Called Flobyt, it is a free, fast, reliable and pretty easy-to-use WiFi service installed at various locations by partners. It is designed to replicate the home WiFi experience.

At specified locations, between 10 – 30 people can be connected to Flobyt at the same time while in locations with higher traffic, Flobyt Max can provide Internet service to 10 – 80 concurrent users.

“It’s quite easy. You simply walk into any of our partner outlets and patronise them. While you are at that, you can log into Flobyt’s free WiFi service available. Join the “Flobyt FREE Wifi”. If your browser pops up for authentication, just visit or click on “Free Access” button shown to you,” said Odufuye.

He added, “We are using state-of-the-art Wifi technology equipment that balances speed, quality of service, security and data consumption. These equipment are light weight and easier to manage. These are the technological and business edges.”

To use the service, simply visit a partner location and do a search for the service; as you would when searching for a WiFi connection. When the Flobyt Wifi splash screen appear, just click continue – usernames or passwords aren’t required – and connect. The rest will be history!

“We believe that just because it is free doesn’t mean you should endure “anyhowness”. Our FREE wifi is fast and secure. We do not limit the website you visit per session you are connected,” Flobyt stated.

Flobyt is currently live in various locations around Lagos, including Bar Enclave, Ilupeju; FoodHouse, Ikosi; Lounge 9a, Anthony; Massimo Bar, Ikeja; Grace’s Cakes, Ogba; Jazzment Salon, Lekki; Kayz Place Barbershop, Lekki; Amala Express, Lekki; White House, Sabo, Yaba and Road Star Burger, Lekki.
