Social Entrepreneurship Challenge: Nigeria’s Fastlaunch Accepting Applications

Fastlaunch, a Lagos-based family business oriented co-working space, has announced applications for the 2017 edition of its Social Entrepreneurship Challenge program are now open.

The challenge seeks entrepreneurs with ideas that can solve the water, transportation, education, energy, health, finance, and housing problems Nigerians, and Africans in general, face.

Selected entrepreneurs will get 3 months workspace, training, mentorship and access to finance – seed funds will be provided, with the amount varying from one startup to the other.

If you’re interested in the challenge, apply by March 8, 2017. 5 slots have been reserved for female entrepreneurs with outstanding ideas. The challenge commences on March 20 at the Foundation Center in Lagos.

Launched last year, Fastlaunch provides an enabling environment of inspiration, experience, growth and opportunity. It encourages startups & businesses to be family oriented, innovative and create community solutions.
